Here are the issues I found:

Philippopolis currently links to a disambiguation page, but not sure if anything can be done about it in this instance.
"In the turbulent period after the Battle of Manzikert (1071)," I'd just say ..Manzikert in 1071, parentheses don't help much there
"Already sometime before 1067, Nikephoros married Eudokia Komnene," Already feels a bit awkward; i'd just remove it.
"and might refuse to treat with him later" I'd prefer saying something like 'refuse to sign a treaty with' just to make it clearer.

There are parts where it feels a bit iffy, but I think that's more because of my attempting to juggle all the names and places rather than any actual problems.
