Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because as mentioned on the page, Neace Lukens is in the top 25 of the largest private insurance companies in the nation. They have expanded from that ranking with seven acquisitions this year alone, with offices now in eight states and 25 cities. They employ over 600 people, including hundreds of licensed agents.

Additionally, as seen in the number of references for a variety of third party sources, Neace Lukens has been a major factor in the insurance world and is clearly seen as relevant and notable with the recent acquisitions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emaos (talkcontribs) 20:15, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed another deletion notice today because I feel like it doesn't argue anything more than the first one did. Understanding there are relevance guidelines, I still feel that the information above follows those guidelines. Relevance is also a mostly subjective term, and this company is relevant in major markets, including Louisville, Cincinnati, Phoenix, Charleston, Columbus, and more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emaos (talkcontribs) 14:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed edits - follow up

[edit]

This is a follow up to my earlier proposed edits message in May 2014. As disclosure, I am an employee of this company. Here are the requested edits:

Company rebranded in May 2014, and name is now Assured Neace Lukens (verification: [1]). Can the page name be updated to reflect this? Additionally, can the name change made throughout the article in all sections?

The article now uses Assured Neace Lukens and its title is now also Assured Neace Lukens. In some instances the old name is still used. For example, "Neace Lukens was acquired by AssuredPartners", because it was not yet Assured Neace Lukens at the time. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 14:02, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Assured Neace Lukens currently has 30 locations. The article currently states 24 locations. [1]

I've changed it to 31 (the current number). --82.136.210.153 (talk) 13:39, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Assured Neace Lukens is no longer the 24th largest private insurance firm in the country as ranked by Business Insurance magazine. Can the second paragraph be updated to reflect that Assured Neace Lukens' parent company AssuredPartners, Inc. is the 14th largest private insurance firm in the country as ranked by Business Insurance magazine in 2013 (verification: [1]

A subscription is required to view the content you use a reference. If you have a publicly available, reliable third-party source, please create a new COI edit request. Thank you. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 16:24, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed updates

As disclosure, I am an employee of this company. Here are the requested edits:

Assured Neace Lukens is no longer the 24th largest private insurance firm in the country as ranked by Business Insurance magazine. • These are both fairly non-controversial edits and I would encourage you to ahead and make them. Just make sure when adding acquisitions, you don't add anything about how they were "strategic" or created "synergy". We just need date, size and what business they were in, typically without much analysis about why or how the acquisition effects the company, unless there is some really substantial analysis in the sources, in which case youd want to share adraft here. Conflict of interest

[edit]

User:Jennifer.rak added a "no index tag to the article to try and influence the way Google reports the the search term 'AssuredPartners, the user has a clear conflict of interest. Theroadislong (talk) 13:48, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion

[edit]

I am an employee of AssuredPartners, Inc. (AP), and have just added a tag to propose that this article be deleted, because much of the information contained in the article is no longer valid, and it is causing confusion for searches pertaining to "AssuredPartners." In 2011, Neace Lukens was acquired by AssuredPartners, Inc [1]. Since that time, as a transitional branding measure, Neace Lukens changed their name to "Assured Neace Lukens" and later "AssuredPartners NL" before changing their operating name to simply "AssuredPartners." Their old website (www.assuredptrnl.com) is no longer active, and the domain has been redirected to the AssuredPartners corporate site at www.assuredpartners.com. All of the office locations that were once part of Neace Lukens or acquired by Neace Lukens prior to their acquisition by AP are now operating under the name "AssuredPartners" and serve as branch offices for AP. This is also the case for hundreds of other agencies that have been acquired by AP.

To simply change the name on this article to "AssuredPartners" would also not be accurate, because the leaders, headquarters, etc. are not applicable to the whole of AP - they would only have been historically accurate for the company that once was Neace Lukens. As an example, AssuredPartners is not headquartered in Louisville, KY, it is headquartered in Lake Mary, FL. AP was not founded in 1991 by John Neace and Joe Lukens, it was founded in 2011 by Jim Henderson [2].Jennifer.rak (talk) 14:32, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We don't delete articles because the company has changed hands or changed names. Theroadislong (talk) 14:38, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
