I have just realised the UKC recognise the Treeing Feist as a separate breed [1], they have recognised it since 1998 and the Mountain Feist since 2015, further Treeing Feist redirects here and always has done. Of the two secondary sources I have cited (and they are the only ones I can find) Morris says they're the same one breed and Mehus-Roe talks about the Treeing Feist in depth, only mentioning the name Mountain Feist once. Given they appear to be separate (now) most of my additions to the page are about the Treeing Feist, but it appears the two have a shared heritage. Accordingly I have renamed this page Treeing Feist and have discussed both breeds on the one page because I do not believe there are sufficient sources to warrant a separate Mountain Feist page.
