Fair use rationale for Image:Mrf.gif

[edit]

Image:Mrf.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Name of the company (MRF Limited)

[edit]

The name of the company now is MRF Limited as per the company website. The MADRAS RUBBER FACTORY is the abbreviation for MRF and is not used anymore other than historic reffernces. As per Wikipedia guidelines I strongly feel that the page has to be renamed as MRF.ltd. Please check this link Company Name: MRF Limited--Race27 (talk) 15:57, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the comments made by the invidividual above. Per this recent news release, "MRF Limited" is the only name mentioned: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/Ford-Motor-Company-honours-MRF-as-top-global-supplier/articleshow/20294131.cms . Citations

[edit]

It appears that majority of the information in this article does not have citations. Where did all this information come from? Also, the link to the MRF company doesn't work. Sirota89ursr (talk) 02:37, 29 May 2013 (UTC)sirota89ursr[reply]

Names confused - KM Mammen and KM Mammen Mappillai

[edit]

I have corrected the names and wiki links mentioned in this article. The current chairman (KM Mammen) was wrongly linked to teh founders name (KM Mammen Mappillai). Also, by shortening the founder's name to KM Mammen, an earlier editor seems to have confused people with the current chairman (KM Mammen). I have corrected this in the infobox. If anyone notices this elsewhere in this wiki, please do correct it.

Fyi, the family tree is as follows: KM Mammen Mappillai (founder) --> KM Mammen (current chairman) --> Rahul Mammen (eldest son, VP Corporate planning and development) Notthebestusername (talk) 04:21, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
