MKweb

[edit]

As MKweb is a separate company in the Illiffe group, surely it should have its own page? If no-one objects, I shall propose a split. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:03, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bias

[edit]

Paragraph 3 starts with "Our proposal included.." suggesting this is cut from a press release or otherwise written by someone with a heavy bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.55.191 (talk) 18:17, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have edied the MKweb material heavily to delete the weasel words and puffery. As noted next, I have split off the MKwem material into its own article, see MKWeb. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 01:34, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MKWem material split from MK News into its own article.

[edit]

Split to

[edit]

I have split the MKWeb content from MK News since it is a separate division of Iliffe News and Media and is not operated by MK News. See talk above --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 01:36, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Recombine

[edit]

I have renamed the former MKNews article as OneMK to reflect the change of name. I have also reinstated the onemk.co.uk website as part of this article, since it no longer appears to be a separate business. The article MKWeb continues to exist, for archival and continuity purposes. It has a note to say it is obsolete and advising users of this page. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:53, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone from onemk online is watching, please be advised that your redirection of links to MKweb to the correspond onemk page is not working properly - you aren't handling URLs that begin http:// correctly. Many facts on Wikipedia relating to MK are supported by citations to mkweb, for example this from Newton Longville:

However, by March 2013 the developers' consortium had begun consulting with nearby parish councils with a view to submitting a new planning application for a development fully to the north of the railway line.[1]

and so will fail. You may wish to repair.--John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:53, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
