– There are two aspects to this RM proposal. One is that I believe the proper name of the institution is "Parliament of Canada", not "Canadian Parliament". If "Canadian Parliament" is used, I think "Parliament" should be in lowercase, since "Canadian Parliament" is not the proper name of the institution. The second aspect is that MOS:TOPRESENT says the proper form of the final article's date range is to use "to present" or "–present", and says "Do not use incomplete-looking constructions such as 1982– and 1982–... ." Yes, I made a wording mistake above (I meant that when the wording 'Canadian Parliament' is used it is uppercased but that 'Parliament of Canada' is as you describe and will Support that). Randy Kryn (talk) 12:03, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
