Kincardine, Ontario - second monument

I just updated the article to reference the decision by the Kincardine, Ontario, municipal council to destroy a monument at the library rather than reinstalling it, but to leave a second monument at the cemetery in place because it doesn't reference the Civil War. However, considering that the cemetery monument apparently refers only to a minor Confederate figure, and not to the war nor (I presume) to the Confederacy itself, can it really be considered a Confederate monument at all? Perhaps it should be removed from the article altogether. Thoughts? Carguychris (talk) 18:40, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
