Newspapers
[edit]The item "Almost all newspapers...reinstated" could be partly or totally hived off to a separate page on 'newspaper astrology columns' in general, if anyone has anything to say. Some specific examples would be useful. I know of two, but can't remember which newspapers it was - I'll try to find out and put it here initially. MayoPaul5 16:20, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Daughter
[edit]The item at the bottom of the page regarding his daughter is not relevant to his biography, it should probably be removed completely. For the moment I have just edited the comment slightly. Bliskner (talk) 10:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Removal of most of this article
[edit]I removed everything from this article that was not verifiable, save for the "sun sign astrologer" claim. Montedison (talk) 04:43, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
UK newspaper interviews
[edit]It's not a 'sun sign astrologer claim....that's what Jonathan does for a living, so it's not a claim it's a F-A-C-T...Not too sure why Monte has removed so much info, makes the page look a little sparse. Will add more as I go. First off, here are some newspaper interviews starting with the Guardian 2004 http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2004/jan/19/dailymail.pressandpublishing The Mirror http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Jonathan+Cainer+Interview%3A+A+vision+of+my+wife+told+me+she+was...-a071826286 Veryscarymary (talk) 19:47, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

I think who ever deletes info from this page again needs to read this first
Jonathan Cainer's website has OVER 1.4 million unique visitors everyday, so even if you don't like astrology, or think it's not important, this man's website alone has an awful lot of traffic https://www.google.com/adplanner/planning/site_profile?hl=en#siteDetails?identifier=jonathancainer.com&lp=true

- very true. Also the picture given is ridiculous small. You cannot see him. I don't know how to post images but this page seriously need several close pictures of Jonathan Cainer as well as the link to his website. 2.108.3.202 (talk) 05:54, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
Illness
[edit]Jonathan cainer was seriously ill for 3 years prior to his death during which he created the digital astrology predictions library for the 50 coming years, for his nephew to can overtake his work after Jonathan death. So he knew that he was dying. He talk about it on his website in 2014-15. He is therefore still making audio and videos predictions for all signs, based on natal chart, even after his death, and with his voice. This information is important enough and unusual enough to be mentioned. He is the alone astrologers in history to have done that. I therefore added it at the end. The story about cocaine doesn't add up, unless he committed suicide to avoid a too painful death and long agony. He also was astrologer of the royal. I therefore found weird that all those important information about him are not mentioned in his description. It's like half of his life is missing from this page. As for source, Jonathan Cainer himself, both in videos and in writing on his website. I added those corrections at the end, but it looks like that someone inadvertently removed those important information that another contributor had written, without knowing about Jonathan Cainer, and has thereby truncated the page and left it lacking crucial informations. Cainer often presented his nephew as being his brother, and talk of his dead brother but I only mention little of it as being not essential. I am disappointed to see that so little was written about him, and saddened to see that some unknowing corrector has removed important data that a well informed user had the kindness to give. This is not a chemical or physics Theory, but some data about the life and work of a great astrologer, and some unique things he created. All is available on his website for those who followed him, and were interested in his accomplishments. I should have mentioned the anectdote that i was abroad when he died, and first realised he was dead several months later, because his audio and video predictions were still available, so I didn't realised that he had died. Thanks to his astro library. When i found out i had a shock and felt very strange to have been listening to the voice of someone who was dead for so long. It was creepy to think of it because I didn't realised that Cainer had died, for so long. It gives an idea of how his library work and how good it is. 2.108.3.202 (talk) 06:17, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
