To reviewer
[edit]- That is true if GNG is the criterion.
But under WP:NACADEMIC, "Academics/professors meeting any one of the following conditions, as substantiated through reliable sources, are notable... 5. The person holds or has held a ... distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research... 6. The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution ...."
Which he has. --2604:2000:E010:1100:8CFB:9494:4087:E983 (talk) 03:43, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
Hi @Theroadislong:, Everett definitely satisfies WP:NACADEMIC #6: "The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society." He was President of the New School for Social Research AND a CUNY Chancellor.[1] That's not chopped liver. AugusteBlanqui (talk) 08:34, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
