Sometimes, Wikipedia is so infuriating. Eight albums of brilliant songwriting and a fabulous voice. And there is still a question of notability? On the other hand, when a media hype like Lana del Rey signs to a major label, she gets a full-page entry in Wikipedia before there is any substantial body of work. No question of notability because the people working for magazines, TV and radio shows that are all somehow affiliated to that big company are busy to turn press releases into source material. Nobody asks if this maybe is all fiction. Nobody really listens to her hastily assembled debut album for that major label which refutes all hopes the blogosphere had. An encyclopedia should care about truth and not economic power. - 84.159.113.7 (talk) 09:48, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
