Update

[edit]

Docherty seems to have been off the radar for a good five years or so now. What is he doing these days? Has he been writing or gone back to stand-up perhaps? If anyone knows it would be good to put it in the article. 12:56, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

  • I met him at my sister's wedding last week. He's script-writing now; has finance together to start on a film about two washed-up Scottish comedians that end up doing a gig in Nova Scotia. You heard it here first... Alex 22:19, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I heard that he and Mark Williams were going to do the long awaited second series of the [Strangerers]http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Strangerers&direction=prev&oldid=228315700 I hope this is true as the first series ended on a cliff hanger.

"He doesn't currently have a regular slot on BBC Radio 2"

Neither do I as it happens... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vanky (talkcontribs) 20:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Breakthrough job

[edit]

The article states that Docherty achieved "fame" through The Jack Docherty Show. This is not true. He was well known for the popular 'Absolutely' BEFORE his chat show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.61.131.62 (talk) 05:18, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Start/Stop

[edit]

The article mentions Start/Stop, but does not mention it began a new series in 2018. Vorbee (talk) 17:46, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Jack or John?

[edit]

The title reads "Jack", but he's referred to as "John" in the article. Which one is right? - OpalYosutebito (talk) 15:04, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
