Hello there! I'll review this article, beginning with its infobox and lead section.

Infobox

[edit]
  • A couple problems with File:Idontmissyouatall.png. First and foremost, I find it suspicious how there's no source URL to show where the artwork came from. We don't want any fake cover art (including pieces made by fans). Providing a link containing this image would help prove authenticity. Secondly, the file size needs to be reduced. I don't recommend going any larger than 300x300.
  • Unless you're willing to mention and cite song duration within a section discussing composition, we'll need a ref for it in here.

Lead

[edit]
  • Nothing on what the lyrics are about?

More to come later. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 21:55, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey SNUGGUMS, thanks for reviewing the article. I don't want to seem like a jerk but can you please get the review done before Wednesday? I am starting school on Thursday and won't have that much time to edit anymore. If you can't I totally understand. Thank you. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 02:37, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Background and release

[edit]
  • This just links to the parent EP on iTunes. It doesn't give a single count or release date for the song itself (independent of EP distribution). I'd also try to get something else to use for songwriting/production credits when I couldn't find those in what was given.
  • Use straight quotation marks (' and ") instead of curly ones (’ and ”) per MOS:CURLY
  • "trying to convince yourself" should be "trying (and failing) to convince yourself"
  • The given link doesn't use brackets for "entirely a lie, the way we all lie to ourselves to try to feel like we’re over someone when we’re definitely, definitely not."
  • Per WP:REPCITE, you don't need to use a citation more than once consecutively within a paragraph, which in this case means ref#1 only has to be used at the end of "written and produced by Finneas"

Composition and release

[edit]

Reception and promotion

[edit]
  • Only three reviews total? That doesn't seem like much. It also isn't enough to substantiate "mainly positive reviews". Without a reference specifically mentioning overall favorable/mixed/unfavorable reception, such assessments are WP:SYNTH. Don't make presumptions solely based on what reviews are included in Wikipedia articles.
  • Blood Harmony should be italicized in the quote from BroadwayWorld.
  • Remove the comma from "during October 2019, in support of Blood Harmony"
  • No mention of the song
  • This doesn't talk about a Spanish guitar and is from December 2019
  • No critical commentary on his performances?

Release history

References

[edit]
  • When available, add publication dates for citations
  • Don't italicize the "Finneas Performs 'I Don't Miss You At All' Live From KROQ" title from ref#9, and that should have YouTube as a work/publication

Overall

[edit]
  • Prose: Needs work
  • Referencing: Some references need formatting corrections, and not all content is properly supported
  • Coverage: Seems incomplete with only a few reviews and no comments on performances
  • Neutrality: The use of "classic" is subpar
  • Stability: Nothing of concern
  • Media: Inadequate FUR for the artwork
  • Verdict: Sorry but I'm failing. There's too many issues for an article of this length, which could use an expansion. I'm not saying it has to be massively long, but I'm not convinced this is up to its full potential. Be sure to also fix up the refences. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 03:37, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
