—Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.182.25.24 (talkcontribs)

Translation:"I would understand the deletion of the parapgraph telling the sample stealing issues about Ganxsta Zolee (BTW for which there are evidences - simply compare his songs with the original ones), if there weren't 3 other undergorund groups removed from the page."

I am not an expert in this topic, but I suppose Fenyő Miklós's 1984 LP deserves a mention here ([1]), as well as Neurotic's attempts in the eighties and the huge mainstream success of Geszti Péter's Rapülők in 1992. KovacsUr 22:28, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NOne of them were real rap music only in their names (consider Hip Hop Boys for example a boyband-turned-weddingpop line-up). The only older "successful" band could be Happy Gang, whose first LP sounded more rap-like than their follow-up love songs. But I guess the whole article could stand without mentioning the above said efforts in the genre. Lajbi Holla @ me 00:43, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I think Neurotic did in fact influence quite a few hip-hop bands (Az árral szemben used the words from Neurotic's Brék as the chorus in their song Divat). Geszti's role in bringing rap to the Hungarian mainstream is undeniable as well, Zana's Kartell could never have become so big without Geszti and co. clearing the path first. Fenyő's 1984 album is only a curiosity, but it is rap without a doubt (and quite probably the first album ever recorded to contain rap in Hungarian). KovacsUr 13:19, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I won't oppose you writing all this into the artcile. Lajbi Holla @ me 21:07, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

'Hungarian hip hop' into 'Hungarian rock' article

[edit]

A short section should be written about Hungarian hip hop into the Hungarian Rock/Subgenres, with a 'Main Article Hungarian hip hop' link to this article. :-) --Harom65 (talk) 09:32, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
