Interesting to speculate on the impact of growing up in Cornwall in the same environment as his future mother-in-law Katharine Burdekin (KB).
KB's wiki page says "a British who wrote concerned with social and spiritual matters.", and KB had pretty alternative household.
During Sinclair's career as a Tory politician, he was a champion for social issues such as abortion, and was heavily involved with Global Forum of Spiritual and Parliamentary Leaders on Human Survival.
Probably no way of ever knowing how the families interacted a century ago, but it looks to me like his politics possibly grew out of those early years in Cornwall. PJQ33 (talk) 03:27, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
