George Robert Stowe Mead
[edit]Should the main page be his real name and this be a redirect? jbolden1517Talk 01:52, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Looked this up in Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names) and I've changed my mind. Archiving here in case anyone else has the same idea jbolden1517Talk 22:38, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
biographical discrepancies with other langage versions
[edit]It is saddening to see that there are substantial differences with the German version. The german version lets him born for instance in London etc...--Alexandre Rongellion (talk) 19:07, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Contradiction: was Mead born in March or September 1863? The article mentions both months. Please clarify, additionally to the question of place of birth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.219.227.36 (talk) 12:32, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Periodical continuity
[edit]As stated here, Mead continued in his periodical fervor for as long as he could, almost to his death in 1933, under the title, 'The Quest Quarterly,' sans Mrs. Besant. On the other hand, the TS still needed a house organ, so Mrs. Besant encouraged the remaining Theosophists to "transfer" their subscriptions to 'The Theosophist,' eventually 'The American Theosophist,' which was published under those names for nine decades, and is now known as the 'Quest Quarterly,' still published as of this writing. The TS has gone through various splits and schisms over its history, but all of the various organizations and factions seem to be on friendly terms these days, the more pugnacious elements having passed on from this realm. rags (talk) 04:59, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
Bibliography?
[edit]In section 6, Works, at least to me it is not clear which are the 11 volumes included in the "Gnosis" collection. Maybe indentation would be appropriate. rags (talk) 08:42, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
