1. I took care of adding several external references to the page before posting it, as recommended...
2. Fire Zuave is a dead link on several other wiki pages, including Kevin Barnes and David Barnes's, so as far as I'm concerned, it does make sense to have wiki acknowledge the band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rainbows In The Dark (talk • contribs) 12:12, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I removed your hangon tag from the article. It's not necessary unless it gets tagged for speedy deletion, and since you asserted notability that shouldn't happen. However, I'm not sure if this band is notable enough for inclusion in this encyclopaedia. The guidelines for bands are outlined in Wikipedia:MUSIC#Criteria for musicians and ensembles. If it can't be shown that they fulfill any of those criteria it will still be deleted eventually. Do you think Fire Zuave passes any of those? Cheers, AmaltheaTalk14:37, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message. I actually didn't know about the criteria... I just added a few bands recently, without really thinking there were criteria. Oops. After seeing the list, though, I'd say the band in question does meet some of a couple of these criteria, especially since the band is somewhat of an of Montreal off-shoot, or a side-project for David Barnes' artwork... I'll keep trying to find out more, though, especially in terms of media coverage... Thanks for all the tips. Rainbows In The Dark 16:12, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
