European hip hop

[edit]

I'm probably not the best person to be working on this article (my knowledge is limited to American and British hip hop), but I felt that this page needed to be created and any help would be appreciated.

What I want this page to contain -

  • A decent and concise introduction to the topic (top of page).
  • An "Overview" of the history, influences and various styles of European hip hop.
  • A description of each country's hip hop. This should include history, notable artists, style, influences etc.
  • A detailed article on each country's individual page (e.g. British hip hop). There's no reason why this can't be as detailed as East Coast hip hop for example, and if anyone has knowledge of their country's hip hop, I'd appreciate it if they could work on the article.
  • Suitable and interesting pictures.
  • Every statement should be referenced.

That seems reasonable if we get a large number of people working on this page. We should be aiming to get this to featured article status.

I updated the article and removed the NPOV tag, please use {{POV-section}} or {{POV-statement}} for sentences, then detail issues here. - RoyBoy 17:33, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
