Ilyas Kashmiri edit
[edit]Someone at 216.99.15.253 wrote in "Associations with Pakistani ex-military officers": Ilyas Kashmiri denied being ever in the Pakistani military in his interview in Asia Times with Syed Saleem Shahzad.
- If you have a reference for this, why don't you add it to the article? Don't remove a reference that's already there, which clearly states that he is ex-Army. Thanks. bostonbrahmin 21:31, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- Don't bother -- I searched and found the reference. Either Ilyas Kashmiri lied to his Asia Times interviewer, or several intelligence analysts are misinformed. I've kept both sets of references and noted that they don't agree. bostonbrahmin 02:57, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Delete the section - Claims relating to the 2010 Pune German Bakery blast
[edit]Why are these claims here? No one has openly accused Headley of any involvement in these blasts. If no one responds within a few weeks, I'm going to remove this whole section. bostonbrahmin 21:35, 18 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostonbrahmin20 (talk • contribs)
But they are insinuating [1]. At the least they are accusing him of casing targets near the German bakery--Sodabottle (talk) 15:40, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- All right. It should be enough to note that Headley had surveyed the Osho Ashram and Chabad House in Pune, which are located close to German Bakery. Thanks, Sodabottle. bostonbrahmin 03:33, 21 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bostonbrahmin20 (talk • contribs)
Need better reference for what Headley told NIA investigators
[edit]The only news article that says what Headley told NIA investigators last week is the Times of India one. But this article never attributes any statements to anyone, and it expresses a lot of opinions without any reference to back them up. Any better references?

Where is the discussion concering the objectionable image
[edit]The comments w.r.t to the image of Cartoons say that there was a discussion about this. Where is that discussion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.68.214.62 (talk) 18:38, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- You can start one if you want--Sodabottle (talk) 18:40, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
OK It seems that the image is posted here just for the sake of posting this image? Why is this image important to link with David Headley? Yes he is convivcted of plotting to attack danish newspaper, What is the reference of that plotting with this specific image?
Also don't he get the most publicity by accusation of involveme nt in Mumbai attacks? And there is one picture of mumbai attack.
I know I am trying to convince something to those guys who for no valid reason (perhaps some covert reasons) are trying to offend a number of people not involved in this.
When I search on Google by "David Headley" in images, I don't see this image in 17,600 images. How do you see this image related to this article? Yeah freedom of speech. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.68.214.62 (talk) 04:34, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- a)Jylands posten became a target because of this image's publication b)Yes the Mumbai attacks are more relevant and need an image here. will try to add a picture of the attacks. Again this is my opinion and other editors might feel different. You are doing the right thing by starting this discussion. This is how Wikipedia works. And if the image offends you dont come here. There may be a lot in this world that may offend you and your religion. The world does not bend over backward to accommodate your religious views. --Sodabottle (talk) 04:55, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Prior nationality?
[edit]The section "Ease of entry with U.S. passport" has a passage about Headleys "prior name or nationality". What prior nationality would that be? If he was born in Washington D.C. he was born a US citizen and would naturally have a US passport. Did Headley ever have another citizenship besides US? Amandashusse (talk) 11:16, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- You are correct. I have changed the line into his "prior name or his father's nationality". Indian embassies give visa applicants a hard time, if they are of pakistani origin.--Sodabottle (talk) 11:50, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
PBS/Frontline program
[edit]The PBS/Frontline program scheduled to be broadcast in the U.S. on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2011 will examine this case in detail (it's a 1-hour program). Cgingold (talk) 06:41, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
David is not a solely Christian name, Daoud is not a solely Muslim name.
[edit]When I lived in Israel, there were many Christian Arabs whose names were Daoud. Many Jews have the English name David. And Jews are not Christians and don't get christened.
I have rephrased the sentences assigning David to being Christian and Daoud to being Muslim. Rephrase it anyhow you wish but, please do not associate David solely to Christianity nor associate Daoud as a solely Muslim name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hence Jewish Anderstein (talk • contribs) 03:29, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Name change?
[edit]Ref 8 states "Additionally, Indian government officials said they might seek clarification from the United States on why there is no record of David Headley’s name change in his passport." Ref 9 reshuffles the same source as ref 8. If we look critically, then there is no reliable source that David Headley has, in fact, changed his name legally. The solesource seems to be US government one page memo. So I suggest the text reflect it and look something like "US government claims Headley changed his name legally to ..." As US government is clearly interested party here having employed Headley (and as ref 8 states, it is unclear when and why the employment ended) then it cannot be considered RS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.180.9.74 (talk) 11:08, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
First name of sister
[edit]According to this obit for his Mother from January 25, 2008, it was Scherezade. How is the name Syedah sourced? --Widerborst (talk) 01:02, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Eye colour
[edit]Why no mention of the very conspicuous feature; one blue and one brown eye? FunkMonk (talk) 22:05, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
