Picture?

[edit]

Perhaps I am missing something, but there are only pictures of webs. Wouldn't this article benefit from a picture of the spider itself? - If I find one with a compatible license then I will add. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.193.253.59 (talk) 00:02, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It sure would benefit from a picture of the spider, but the paper only included photos of the webs. You could try contacting the authors of the second source, to see if they might release one under a creative commons licence. SmartSE (talk) 12:06, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can see the pdf file of the first source has some excellent pictures of both male and females of this species. Can't we use those? If not I would rather not have pictures of any other species in a specific article - its confusing! 193.163.248.12 (talk) 15:04, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Size

[edit]

I added the sizes (18mm ♀, 6mm ♂, values rounded from [2]). I'd prefer to have a standardized section about relevant body sizes etc. in taxon pages across all animals, but I could not find a consistent pattern. --Ralf Muschall (talk) 15:13, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the source (which is now the first reference) gives sizes in cm, hence I will update the lengths here to match that. 193.163.248.12 (talk) 14:56, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
