[edit]This song is by the band Justice, from the album Cross, and the song's name is "DVNO". Is this a coincidence or is this song related to the text "DVNO" written on a cross on a coin in the 11th century?:
- "The coins he minted, weighing between .5 and .6 grams, were divided by a cross on the obverse, with the words SANC-TA CR-VX (sancta crux means holy cross) on the horizontal and vertical bars respectively, and with the letters BR-NR-DS-CO (Bernardus comes, meaning count Bernard) in the spaces remaining. The back side of the cross bore the word BISIL-DVNO (Bisilduno, of Besalú).[6] Bernard did grant to the church a tenth of the money minted in Besalú in perpetuity, whether of gold or of silver.[7]" --Bernard II, Count of Besalú (emphasis added)
Lyrics from the song:
- "D V N O
- Four capital letters
- Printed in gold" (emphasis added)
