They accompanied the following redundant sentence, At the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, Cavanagh qualified to compete in the gold medal match and guarantee herself at least a silver medal. When you compete in a finals of any tournament, you're guaranteed at least a silver medal, that's how tournaments work. If the only bout being mentioned is the final, then there's no point saying she qualified to compete in it. You can't compete in a finals without qualifying for the finals. It doesn't need stating, this isn't simplewiki.
Would you mind actually addressing the points I raised? That reply is wholly insufficient. Seeing as this appears to be your only issue, I'm reverting back to the version before I removed the sentence and accompanying references. – 2.O.Boxing17:46, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
