When did Wilson say the US should stay on a war footing?
[edit]As of 2017-03-16 this article includes the claim that, "In 1944, after the end of the Second World War, Wilson stated that America must keep her economy on a war footing to avoid depressions such as the one of the 30's." I just added a "citation needed" flag on that for two reason:
- The statement is clearly wrong on its face, because WW II ended in 1945 NOT 1944.
- I don't want to fix the date without a source.

Adoption
[edit]Electric Charlie and his wife adopted their daughter Margaret Wilson from an orphanage when she was 18 years old.
Wait, what? Is that even a thing? john k (talk) 17:28, 8 April 2017 (UTC)
CEO or president
[edit]Was he CEO or President of GE? There is a reference that says President instead of CEO but it has confusing years. RJFJR (talk) 19:03, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
