Not moved. There is a clear consensus against moving, on the well-established basis that Wikipedia titles can and do routinely contain diacritics. bd2412 T 02:56, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
César Emiliano Hernández Ochoa → Cesar Emiliano Hernandez Ochoa – The existing title contains unicode characters. I wrote a python script, using an online python workspace, and it can't accept data that is not ASCII. With regard to the Spanish accents... sure, they are useful, in Spanish. But this is the English language wikipedia, and we are under no obligation to preserve foreign accents. Geo Swan (talk) 14:33, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

- @Geo Swan: Better discuss this request. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:41, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
- Uhhh...no. If you can't accept non-ASCII data, you're screwed here at Wikipedia with articles like Fáskrúðsfjörður and Nguyễn Hợp Đoàn. Go to WP:UNICODE for help. (BTW, both the é and the á are extended ASCII.) — AjaxSmack 00:39, 13 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. The fact that your python script can't handle the name in question is sadly not a valid WP:AT reason to rename the article. Per MOS:DIACRITICS we go with reliable sources to determine whether to use these characters or not, and those seem to prefer the form with diacritics, even in English. — Amakuru (talk) 15:22, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose no evidence that this Mexican politician is a tennis player. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:55, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
