Major Problems with this article
[edit]This article has serious short comings. It places the battle to the north of Delapre Abbey, with the Lancastrians having their backs to the river. This is not the case, and is an error derived from a Victorian author, Richard Brooke, in his book "Visits to the Fields of Battle in England of the Fifteenth Cewntury". The battle was fought in the grounds of the Abbey, between it and the Eleanor Cross. See the Battlefield trust website and the Historic England assessment. It also does not reference theb main work on the subject, Mike Ingram's Battle of Northampton 1460.
