Reference for baron ?

Hi, having followed up on the research and read through pages 603-611 of Burke's peerage as shown in the references, I have come to question where this list of baron's has been created from, because the reference cites the son of the 8th baron Edeirnion - Owen Ap David as the first baron Cymmer-yn-Edeirnion. But the article radically changes this succession and has potentially confused two baronies as one. For instance, Gruffydd ap Iorwerth is listed as the first baron here in the article, however the reference lists his grandchild as the first baron of Cymmer-yn - Edeirnion, and Gruffydd ab Iorwerth ab Owain Brogyntyn in the article as the first baron, firstly ab in Welsh is suggestive of descent, thus it is incorrect as Owain Brogyntyn would have been born over a century prior, not a direct ancestor such as the father. Also the reference lists Gruffydd ap Iorwerth the 7th baron in the family of Hughes of Gwerclas, why is the Gwerclas family not explained correctly ?

This article needs amending to match the references being presented, could someone please come forward with an explanation or further references to explain the baron's list ?
