When did it premiere?

[edit]

"The English version of the twenty-six episode series first premiered on YTV on Monday, November 22 2010"

It is currently the 11th of September, 2010 as I write this and it is already airing (in English) in Australia, so this is an error. Is there anyone out there who knows when it actually premiered? Because I'm sure they would have launched it in the country where the show came from.--NJM2010 (talk) 05:17, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I was meant to place both countries (Canada and Australia) airdates, (Since Nelvana is a Canadian production company and Australia is where the English version of the series first premiered) however I was distracted and only placed Canada's. I fixed the problem now, thanks for pointing out this error. Matt-tastic (talk) 05:33, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Cheers NJM2010 (talk) 10:12, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Location?

[edit]

I watched Babar since I was really little and I always thought it took place in France. (The stories originally being French, and Babar once taking a train to Paris) But noticing in this show they have jungles, A savanna, all the animals are African animals, I'm starting to think Babar takes place in Africa. (Since the original show had jungles as well)

Can someone who's good at "Babar Lore" please give me some insight? Dartpaw86 (talk) 13:34, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Dartpaw86[reply]

Status?

[edit]

Is this cartoon still in production? Disney hasn't aired any new or repeat episodes in a little while. Thanks! :) 209.103.209.92 (talk) 11:52, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pom and Babar

[edit]

When Babar's son Pom was young, he used to call his father "Dad" or "Father". But as a grown-up, he calls him "Pop". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4700:2D30:2CC4:10A7:5DBE:E9FA (talk) 19:02, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
