Much of the text of this article was lifted verbatim from the World Chelonian Trust, ARKive,[1] and Reptile Database Web sites. I've attempted to remove much of this plagiarism. Also, the two news articles of May 2007 indicate that the turtle may survive only along that 30-mile stretch of the Mekong. The edit of 11:17, May 16, 2007 made it seem as if the turtle were still widely abundant in throughout Cambodia. I've tried to clarify that. Lastly, I'm merely a turtle fan and not a scientific expert. This article deserves an expert's attention. - Tim196516:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...What? This is getting ever more confusing. There is no case at all for moving this article to an All Caps style - that is entirely contrary to MOS:ORGANISM. Please don't attempt that.
Swapping the article at "Cantor's" with the redirect at "Asian" was fine, as far as I can see from usage. We also have a disambiguation for the related genera at Giant softshell turtle. This is a sensible structure (apart from the entirely superfluous redirect to the disambig from Asian giant softshell turtle (disambiguation), but it seems that this will not be cleaned up). Can we please stop with the fiddling now? --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 15:51, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I made the request, since nobody involved seemed interested in doing so. Two things happened: I apparently picked up a capitalised version of the intended title, my mistake; someone (Anthony Appleyard (talk·contribs)) renamed the article a few hours after I added the move request (unrequested?) - probably shouldn't have happened, but that's why you have a move request about one article on the talk page of a different article. If everyone is happy with the current situation, then no harm done. If not, by all means continue fiddling. Lithopsian (talk) 18:44, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
