I've added one of the two sources from the Indian Express that I mentioned at the Teahouse. Well done you.... another DYK via Ka.ol.cle I'll leave for you to mention to them. Mike Turnbull (talk) 14:03, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Michael D. Turnbull I looked at that one, but put it aside for the time being. Afaict neither Newsweek [1] or FDA mentioned Adamjan, see also [2]. Though he seems to be "guilty" of passing bad advice along here. The Dutch article also had some criticism. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 14:15, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Strange that the usually WP:RS of the Indian Express may have got it wrong. I added a Guardian source that was very approving and mentions him five times. I think both should stay, just for balance and since the today.com backs up the "unsafe" part but that doesn't need to be cited, IMO. Mike Turnbull (talk) 14:20, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I don't see anything really horrible with the text as written. I was wondering about his nationality, but the Danes says he's Danish, so we're going with that for the moment. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 14:24, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He is a dual citizen, both American and danish and live both places. He's been living in US the last 22 years and just came back to also live in Denmark again 4 years ago. He's business and social media accounts are based in America because that's where he started it. So as he's fiancée I would say it's more accurate to say his nationality is American as primary and then add that he's also danish. Ka.ol.cle (talk) 09:50, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense (added American to the lead), but it would be nice to have a source that bothered to note he's American. I've looked, but can't find one. It doesn't have to be Jyllands-Posten or Reader's Digest, his website [3] or just one of his YouTube videos where he says so would do.
I just asked him if he can remember anything mentioning his American, I’ll let you know if he find anything.
Also I have some edit suggestions if you wanna use it.
- Siblings: He has three sisters.
- Instagram is the platform he’s most known at so maybe add that in the beginning. He’s following as it is right now is: Instagram 8.4m - YouTube 3.8m - TikTok 6.5m
- He’s written 3 books and he only sells them on he’s website not Amazon, we recently noticed that they’re being illegally sold on Amazon with a fake ISBN number so that should probably not be mentioned on the page.
- He’s been on today show 5 times and done 3 TEDx talks, he’s also been on Ireland Am show twice. In Denmark he’s been on Go’ morgen Danmark’ and Aftenshowet. He’s been on the Drew Barrymore show and on a show in Australia and Indonesia.
And here’s some extra info if you’d find it useful:
- He recently started doing videos where he raps while showing he’s hacks instead of talking (yelling) and he just got on Spotify as an artist where you can listen to the rap hack songs.
- He’s also worked with Craig David and Josh Flagg where they participated in his video’s with him. He’s has done videos with Bryan Adams but also filmed and edited a lot of the videos you see on Bryan’s instagram for his tours, Bryan is a close friend of ours and we often meet up in countries around the world. Armen goes on stage with him and film him performing (and end up breakdancing on stage, Bryan just posted a video of that on his Instagram).
- Some personal life: Armen is born in Armenia and when he was three he’s family fled and they named him Armen after Armenia. In 2020 Armen went back to Denmark after meeting me (Isabella De Abrew, photographer and Armen’s manager) but due to corona I couldn’t go to America but because of he’s dual citizenship he where able to go to Denmark, so he came and feel in love and ended up living in Denmark again. 6 months later he proposed on a flight to Spain (proposal video went viral) and march 4th 2024 we had our daughter Cleo who’s been participating in he’s videos which his followers are crazy about in the comments.
