Actor

[edit]

Should Price be described as an "actor"? IMDb gives him five credits as "actor" here, the principal one of which seems to be Alfie Darling (1975). Martinevans123 (talk) 10:29, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Appearances

[edit]

PBS just showed a Ready Steady Go special that had a very early appearance by the Animals and there was a brief shot of Alan Price playing keyboards. 207.98.148.150 (talk) 03:27, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Key Element?

[edit]

There should by some support by other musicians or critics, aside from Price's autobiography, for the claim that: "His organ playing on songs by the Animals, such as "The House of the Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", and "Bring It On Home to Me" was a key element in the group's success." Granted the organ stands out in the mix, but that claim implies that Eric Burdon would not have had success with those songs without Price's organ playing. One could just as easily say that those three songs were successful notwithstanding the obtrusive organ in the mixes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.56.173.184 (talk) 21:46, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
