The Diplomat In Cinemas 28 February 2025 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2409:408a:8185:8e0f:3a4c:888d:4a8b:591 (talkcontribs) 21:31, December 8, 2024 (UTC)

That's nice, are you advertising this or mistaking this? I'm guessing the former…? Guarantee it has not been released, according to IMDb, here in the USA. But the one that's nominated is The Diplomat (American TV series) starring Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, Allison Janney, Michael McKean, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, et al. Just in case—wanted to clear up that confusion for you!

Change "Daniel CraigQueer as William Lee" to "Daniel CraigQueer as William Lee"

William Lee is not William S. Burroughs, rather a fictionalized version of the author. In the same vein that Pedro Almodóvar is not Salvador Mallo and Federico Fellini is not Guido Anselmi. Therefore, I would ask for the removal of the link to Burroughs' page. R. A. Solimene (talk) 02:48, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disagreed. Check Queer main article, where they also link the character. Burroughs himself said "Lee is himself off heroin" on the novel page. Furthermore, the practice of linking a character in such a way is quite common if it is semiautobiographical, if not autobiographical". --Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 14:58, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
