Shashi Ranjan (born 29 September)[year missing] is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Bollywood and Indian television. He began his acting career in his native town, Madhubani. After acting in plays in Delhi, Ranjan made his debut in a daily soap, Tere Mere Sapne, for Star Plus in 2009. Ranjan is known for his roles Pantar in The Legend of Michael Mishra and Ramesh in Tumhari Sulu.
Early life
[edit]Ranjan was born in Sitamarhi. His father is a clerk in the district collectorate office in Madhubani. He began his acting career in his hometown Madhubani in his school days.
Acting career
[edit]Ranjan later acted in plays in Delhi under directors such as Mohan Maharishi. He also conducted theatre workshops and directed a few plays for Delhi theatres. He then moved to Mumbai where he has appeared in more than eighty commercial ads for brands such as Radio Mirchi, Dominos Pizza, Sony, IPL and Bigg Boss 12. His first role in a daily soap opera, in 2009, was the dual lead Tere Mere Sapne for Star Plus.
