Nam Suat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nam Suat (Thai: น้ำสวด, pronounced [náːm sùa̯t], "Holy water") is a watercourse in Nan Province of Thailand. It is a tributary of the Nam Pi, which in turn is a tributary of the Yom River, part of the Chao Phraya River basin.

The Nam Suat flows through the Mae Yom National Park.[1] The Nam Suat forest is among the most complete teak forests in the North.[2] There is a runoff survey station on the river at Ban Wang Yao in Nan Province. In August 2013 the flow at this station was 5.28 cubic metres per second (186 cu ft/s).[3]
