The sixth season of a Philippine television reality competition show The Clash, is broadcast by GMA Network. Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz reprised as hosts, while Christian Bautista, Ai-Ai delas Alas and Lani Misalucha returned as judges. The sixth season premiered on September 14, 2024 on the network's Sabado Star Power sa Gabi line up replacing Running Man Philippines.[1]
Production

[edit]Ai-Ai delas Alas and Lani Misalucha confirmed they will return to judge the sixth season alongside Christian Bautista after returning to the Philippines from America, after an interview with delas Alas to GMA Integrated News on May 30, 2024.[2][3]
Neocolours drummer Niño Regalado is hired to become a musical director for this season, replacing Marc Lopez, who served as the musical director in seasons 2-5 has focused on working for The Voice Kids season 6.
Online auditions
[edit]The show opens online auditions on March 16, 2024, for singers aged 16 and above.[4]
Top 24
[edit]The full cast of contestants are announced, reduced to a total of 24, on August 31, 2024.[5] Kyle Ralvin recently competed in the third season where he was eliminated in the third round before making it to the finals.
In the first round of the sixth season, the randomizer will electronically select six clashers among the 24 to form the Circle of Clash. Afterwards, one clasher will be selected among the six and choose their opponent to advance in the next round.

Round 1: One on One
[edit]The new format of the first round in the sixth season introduces the Circle of Clash where the randomizer will electronically select six clashers, instead ot two, from the Top 24 in The Clash Arena. The first clasher will be randomly selected and choose their opponent from their group to compete against and advance to the Top 12 with the majority of the judges' votes.

Round 2: Pares Kontra Pares
[edit]After the Top 12 were chosen, the clashers were paired for the second round. The randomizer selects six clashers in the Circle of Clash to compose the pairs. The chosen clasher of the circle will choose his/her partner for the duet from the remainder of the Top of the Clash who were not chosen to the circle while the selected partner each take turns to compose the pairs. Below is the groupings selection. Bolded names are those chosen to the circle. Italicized names are those electronically selected.

The format for the second round of the sixth season shows the chosen pair start their performance first. Afterwards, the other duos will have the option to stand to challenge the chosen pair. The Clash Panel will vote for a pair who will advance to the next round. For the losing pair, they will compete with each other in Matira ang Matibay round and only one will remain, still subject to the votes of the Clash Panel.

Round 3: 3-on-3
[edit]The nine clashers perform songs in groups of three. The selection saw the randomizer choose one clasher who selects the other two clashers where they will take turns to compose their groups. The last clasher who was not chosen will have the option to switch places from one of the selected clashers' first two team members to complete the teams. Below is the groupings selection. - Hans Rocel previously competed in the second season of Idol Philippines and was eliminated in the Group Rounds. He also competed in the first season of Tanghalan ng Kampeon on TiktoClock.
- Gia Marie was the regional contender for Luzon in the third quarter of the third season of Tawag ng Tanghalan. She also appeared as guest performer in TiktoClock.
- Paul Rosa first appeared as the regional contender for Visayas in the first season of Tawag ng Tanghalan and returned to the sixth season as a one-time defending champion. He competed in the sixth season of D'Academy Asia and finished in the Top 12 where former The Clash season 2 contestant Louise Alivio and season 4 alumni Raffy Roque, Ralph Padiernos, and Lovely Restituto, who later finished as the runner-up, also participate. He also participated in The Clash 2021 Songwriting Contest in season 4 as the writer for runner-up Vilmark Viray's single "Umuwi Ka Na". He was currently dating Nash Casas who appeared in the previous season as one of the Top 30 clashers.

- Luis Gragera was one of the Top 25 contestants of the boy band talent search competition To the Top where it was hosted by Clash panelist Christian Bautista. He previously competed as a daily winner in the first season of Tawag ng Tanghalan. He also returned in the fourth season as one of the quarterfinalists.
- Kyle Ralvin previously participated in the third season and was eliminated in third round. He first appeared as daily winner on the third season and the defending champion on the fifth and sixth seasons of Tawag ng Tanghalan.
- Rhian Robosa was the niece of The Clash season 3 finalist Renz Robosa and was one of the artists signed to his personal music studio. She recently competed in Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown.

- Tiny DeLuxe, born as Jayper Palma, was the contestant of the second season of Drag Race Philippines. He first competed in the fourth season of Tawag ng Tanghalan as a daily winner, representing Metro Manila.

- Zandra Pateres first appeared in the fourth season of The Voice Kids but failed to score any chair turns in the Blind Auditions. She was the daily winner in the seventh season of Tawag ng Tanghalan.

- Alfred Bogabil was the daily winner representing Luzon in the sixth season of Tawag ng Tanghalan before he withdrew the competition for health reasons.

- Meleena Santos was the defending champion in the second season of Tawag ng Tanghalan. She returned in the sixth season where she lost in the second quarter Daily Rounds. She also auditioned in the third season of Asia's Got Talent and was the winner in an episode of the first season of I Can See Your Voice for a duet with KZ Tandingan.
