Career

[edit]

Staying busy after having her first baby, Morgan worked as a jewelry saleswoman.[2][3][4] While making door-to-door sales, she began talking about motherhood and making jokes with clients who related to her jokes; they eventually began booking her for comedy gigs.[2][5] Her first comedy special on YouTube had over 50 million views by 2023.[2] Her Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman, was in the top 10 comedy specials on the platform.[2][6]

On September 24, 2024, Morgan released her first book, titled What in the World?! A Southern woman's guide to laughing at life's unexpected curveballs and beautiful blessings.

She is managed by Levity Talent and represented by United Talent Agency.[7][8]

Personal life

[edit]

Morgan was married at the age of 21 but ended the abusive relationship. At the age of 26 she married Chuck Morgan, whom she met at the University of Tennessee.[2][7] After getting married, they moved to Bean Station, where Chuck owned and operated a used mobile home business.[2] Leanne and her family later moved to San Antonio, Texas and then Knoxville, Tennessee.[2][7] She and her husband have three children.[9][10]
