Kirsty M. Brown of Australia was the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) program committee chairman, adult resources committee chairman, educational methods group member, its Asia-Pacific committee vice-chairman and consultant and its honours and awards committee chairman. She is a Scout Association of Australia life member and was The Scout Association of Australia Queensland Branch Inc's chief commissioner (2012-2016).

Brown was initially a specialist in the Scout Association of Australia's Cub Scout program. Since 2001, she has been its assistant commissioner in Queensland, where she focused on youth program, adult training, adults in scouting and adventurous activities.

In 2007, WOSM awarded Brown its 312th Bronze Wolf Award for exceptional services to world Scouting.[1]
