Great Wyrley Wesley Methodist Church[1] is an active Methodist church in the Landywood area of Great Wyrley in the South Staffordshire District of Staffordshire, England.[2] It is located between the A34 road and Shaw's Lane. It is a locally listed building.[3]
History
[edit]The church was built in 1925 as a replacement for an older church. It was built to serve the local community and Methodism worshippers.[4]
Present day
[edit]The church serves as a place for both worship and community gatherings.[5] Another church, St Andrew's is located on Hilton Lane and near Shaw's Lane and also nearby is St Mark's Church, Upper Landywood Methodist Church and the Salem Church in nearby Cheslyn Hay.
