I see little point in readers being told that 'racon' stands for "RAdar + beaCON' and then putting "racon beacon" at the foot of a photo (which we should logically interpret as meaning "radar beacon beacon"). Either describe it as a 'radar beacon' or as a 'racon' but not as a 'racon beacon'.
