Question about the Wikipedia entry: Why do the Nitrogens have three hydrogens bonded to them in the 3D picture? Should they have two hydrogens like they do in the other figure?
There seems to be already a discussion about this on Talk:Lysine#Cleanup but here is my question anyway:
- This crystallography reconstruction does not match the skeletal formula for Lycine
- Where is the double bounded Oxygen?
- Where is the OH group?
- This form of the amino acid is good to have on the Lycine page.
- But shouldn't the classical 3D formula be shown first.
