Jonah prophesied during Jeroboam II reign (782–753 B.C.) See 2 Kings 14:23–28.

Amos prophesied during Jeroboam II reign and Uzziah’s reign (787-739 B.C.) He died in 739, not 735. There is an additional clue concerning Amaziah. See Amos 7:14-17. Given Amaziah should be 30 years old to start being a priest, and given the life expectancy for him, and given that Israel went into exile in 722 B.C., the implication is that Amos likely was prophesying about Amaziah somewhere in the later part of 787-739 B.C.
