Various
[edit]Why even bother about the copyright for the only known picture of Chopin? there is none, since it has expired. This is of great historical importance. My piano teacher said there were more pictures of him? can anyone confirm this? I've never heard of any.

Perhaps someone could add that swelling of the face (evident in the picture) is typical during the later stages of tuberculosis due to water retention?
..Is the swelling really that evident? his face seems normal to me...

- And what's with this? http://www.chopinmusic.net/pics.php?c=2&p=1 Looks like another photo! Possibly. FranksValli 05:51, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- That one actually looks more like a daguerreotype IMHO. howcheng {chat} 16:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Is this photo showing Franz Liszt?
[edit]To me this seems like a photo of composer and pianist Franz Liszt – see the German Wikipedia page. Also, a photo search with Google substantiates that suspicion.
