Replacing the image would require access to a Chromebook Pixel machine, newly released, difficult to find, and expensive, as well as an earlier Chromebook model. It would require that comparable macro images be taken of the screens at similar distance and exposure, and that those two images be placed side-by-side for comparison. Moreover, doing so would violate WP:NOR and WP:V Whereas the veracity of this image is verifiable via a ref to the original article. And it is a part of the press/analyst reception to the machine, which is what this section of Chromebook Pixel attempts to summarize.
