While the English part ot the plate only reads "Asad Abadi Sq.", the Persian text reads "Midan Sayyid Jamalu-d-din Asadabadi", i.e. "Square of the Sayyid Jamalu-d-din Asadabadi". So the square honours the person, not the city.--Filius Rosadis (talk) 13:28, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
