English: Picture depicts the Wren Chapel of the Sir Christopher Wren Building on the Historic Campus of the College of William & Mary. As with the other buildings on Historic Campus, the Wren Building was restored by the Colonial Williamsburg project in the 1920s—1930s. The chapel's appearance is based on designs by Wren but shares very little materially with its pre-restoration renditions. The Wren Cross, which was donated by Bruton Parish and was the subject of controversy following its removal from the altar in 2006, is visible in its display case on the left.
