Plashett Park was, until the late 1500s, a deer park belonging to the then Archbishop of Canterbury. Plashett Wood, is an ancient woodland and Site of Special Scientific Interest, historically a 'hunting wood', and is an area of particular natural beauty. http://www.plashett.co.uk/
