DescriptionWilbor House from southwest, Little Compton.jpg
English: The Wilbor House, located at 548 West Main Road in Little Compton, Rhode Island, is an historic house museum and the headquarters of the Little Compton Historic Society. The east end of the timer-framed house dates from 1690, and the west end from 1740. Two ells were added c.1860. In 1967, additional expansions were made. The property also includes an 18th century outhouse, a c.1800 barn, a c.1850 corn crib, a c.1850 carriage house, and a late 19th century cook house. The property is operated as a museum by the Society, which moved two non-contributing structures there, the frame of a c.1750 barn covered in modern materials, and a modern replica of an 18th century schoolhouse.
