Description
English: West Blocton began as a business and residential community adjoining the Cahaba Coal Mining Comopany's town of Blocton in 1883-84. The town has a vital history to the state of Alabama and continues to celebrate its heritage with the Cahaba Lily Festival and Coke Ovens Park.
