Summary
[edit]Description |
Screen shot of WABAC machine with Mr. Peabody and Sherman about to enter it. |
---|---|
Source |
Screen shot from DVD of Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons. |
Article | |
Portion used |
Single, complete screen shot. |
Low resolution? |
2/3 resolution of 600x400 original screenshot. |
Purpose of use |
The image illustrates the WABAC machine from the Mr. Peabody and Sherman segment of the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon. The image supports the article on the subject: WABAC machine. The screen shot was selected to illustrate the nature and size of the Wayback machine (compare to images of UNIVAC or ENIAC machines). |
Replaceable? |
I do not believe any "free content" images of the WABAC machine exist. It is specific to the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, hence inherently copyrighted, although as the article describes, the "wayback machine" has been extensively adopted by popular culture (but the popular culture image is ethereal). |
