English: Snapshot image (looking north) of the Vandalia Railroad Bridge over Cedar Creek in Auburn, Indiana, USA taken in February 2001. Uploaded for use in the English-language Wikipedia article "Butler Branch (Indiana)," which is about the rail line variously known as the Eel River Railroad, the Eel River Branch of the Wabash Railroad and the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad. The line ran between Butler, Indiana, and Logansport, Indiana. The line was abandoned in stages between 1954 and 1977. At the time of this upload (22 November 2011), the bridge has suffered visible damage from vandalism. |
