Summary

Description
English: Insignia of the U.S. Navy ocean escort USS Voge (DE-1047), in 1966. This insignia, adopted in 1966, utilizes a blue field with two white stars to represent the Voge's namesake, the late Rear Admiral Richard G. Voge, USN. The trident combined the traditional symbol of sea power with a stylization of the computer logic circuit, indicative of the computerized ASW system installed in Voge. The orbiting electrons represented the ship's extensive electronic installations.
