Description
English: The U.S. Navy training aircraft carrier USS Lexington (CVS-16) underway. Note that the ship is still equipped with Mk 24 12.7 cm/38 open gun mounts that were removed in 1969. She also still carries her full radar complement (SPS-8A, SPS-12 and SPS-43) that was installed in 1961.
